P7 Life Skills and Personal Development Programme

If you’re in P7 and thinking or perhaps even worrying a bit about the move to secondary school, our Life Skills and Personal Development Programme could be a great fit for you. Over 6 weeks, you’ll explore subjects like mental health, building confidence, everyday life skills, and what to expect when you move up to secondary school.

This program offers you a safe space to ask questions, share any worries, and chat about what’s on your mind. You can also get involved in fun activities like baking, Nintendo Switch and go-karting, as well as various resilience and wellbeing games designed to encourage teamwork and the development of practical skills.

The Programme is run by our DAY1 P7 Programme Leader, who will bring everything to life in a fun and engaging way, whilst giving you the skills and guidance needed to support you on your personal development journey. It’s all about helping you feel ready, confident, and excited for what’s ahead.

To find out if your school offers the P7 Life Skills and Personal Development Programme, speak to your teacher or check out our list of participating primary schools.
